Position summary
We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join our Nestlé Coffee team as a Digital & eBusiness Manager for NESCAFÉ . This role is based at our Gatwick office, reporting directly into the Senior Digital & eBusiness Lead. This opportunity will see you create, activate, and develop the NESCAFÉ eBusiness activity for the UK & Ireland. This role has a particular focus on owned media; responsible for the ongoing delivery of activities across the NESCAFÉ brand website, CRM, SEO, and integration of these into wider NESCAFÉ brand marketing plans. You will get the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver excellence in this space with one of the world’s best-known brands.

A day in the life of a Digital & eBusiness Manager…
Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for planning, activating, and executing the eBusiness strategy for NESCAFÉ across web, SEO, CRM & Data. You’ll help build on our rapid growing consumer database to deliver greater and more personalised experiences to our customers to accelerate our Digital ambitions that delivers the very best results. Key responsibilities include:
- EBUSINESS PLAN – Deliver key activities for NESCAFÉ as part of the Coffee UK&I annual plan with close alignment with Line Manager, providing input into the priorities, tactics to win and measures of success. Prepare commentary, update, and share monthly KPIs through relevant forums.
- OWNED MEDIA – Responsible for the ongoing delivery of activities across NESCAFÉ brand website, CRM, and SEO, working with the relevant Brand Managers to integrate these into wider NESCAFÉ brand marketing plans to ensure a joined-up experience for the consumer including ratings and reviews and product promotion.
- CONTENT – Ensure that the annual website content plan is based on audience and keyword territories and aligns to wider brand plans. Manage the content optimisation process with agency and internal teams.
- ECOMMERCE – Ensure that the relevant consumer touchpoints are shoppable, ensure CTAs are relevant and visible, the product catalogue and portfolio availability is up to date, ensure maximum brand impact and performance across campaigns. Work with stakeholders to define the annual plan and areas of focus for the category.
- MEDIA PLANNING & EXECUTION – Consult on brand plans to ensure owned media is properly considered in the consumer journey and data capture is embedded into campaigns to deliver against eBusiness objectives. Plan data acquisition campaigns through digital media or other partners.
- BUDGET MANAGEMENT – Work with Line Manager to ensure that activity spend is properly detailed against eBusiness objectives.
- TEST & LEARN – Manage and shape the NESCAFÉ CRM and website strategy via a test & learn agenda.
- AGENCY MANAGEMENT – Work closely with our agency and partners across relevant digital touchpoints including but not exclusive to; SEO, CRM, eCommerce and Creative.
What will make you successful?
As the successful candidate, you’ll be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) and have a breadth of digital and CRM knowledge under your belt. You’ll already have worked within a similar role with relevant marketing experience being able to highlight examples of creating and delivering engaging campaigns, building impactful consumer journeys, and generating conversions/leads/sales. You’ll be passionate, results focused and enjoy working in an exciting environment. You’ll thrive when working with stakeholders across all levels coupled with your ability to truly understand our business from a commercial standpoint. You’ll have fantastic communication skills and understand how your decisions impact our Coffee business strategy. You’ll also be able to leverage and shape the role based on your experiences to date to develop the ongoing strategy.
Other key skills include:
- Functional digital knowledge across several areas, ideally website management, SEO, and CRM. Knowledge of paid digital media would be helpful.
- Experience of optimising and testing through analysis of user behaviour and digital performance to guide decision making.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics (as well as other solutions in the Google Marketing Platform, e.g., Data Studio, Optimize, Tag Manager, would be advantageous)
- Target/KPI setting.
- Agency and budget management.
- Solid commercial understanding.
- Evidence of cross-functional working and collaboration to achieve results.
- Influence and impact within a matrix environment.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Drupal CMS would be advantageous but not essential.
