THE ROLE
Responsible for executing the content and online merchandising across your department, you will be working in partnership with the Trading team and collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to ensure all customer journeys are optimised to offer the best balance of brand awareness, user experience and commerciality.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Management
- Create wireframes for the site changes and new content, ensuring sign-off with trade and brand where needed and brief into creative
- Plan, execute and analyse journeys across the site, always endeavouring to offer a best in class customer experience
- Take ownership of the build, publish and sign off of weekly site changes as well as all campaign, trade, promotional and information content
Trade & reporting
- Take ownership of the weekly reporting process and support on quarterly or ad hoc deep dives. Analyse and interpret data, cascade where relevant and present and weekly trade meeting
- React to trade-based changes in a timely manner
Onsite Merchandising
- Publication and online merchandising of all products across your department, including category selection, attribution, visual merchandising, internal search, facet and filters, recommendations, and navigation. Take care to ensure the right product is surfaced at every step of the customer journey
Promotions and key events
- Manage the set-up, maintenance and testing of promotions, including content, categories, and promotional codes
Working collaboratively
- Work closely with SEO and translators to ensure content is localised and optimised for all markets
- Build strong relationships with the trading team for your department
- Brief and collaborate with creative teams (copy, design, photography, creative) to generate content that meets the brief and is suitable for use online
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business including CRM and digital marketing to ensure all customer journeys are seamless
PERSONAL TRAITS
- Preferable to have come from a varied and hands-on Ecommerce background
- Some experience with content management systems, product management systems and visual merchandising tools. Basic HTML skills useful but not essential
- Competent with Excel and comfortable dealing with large data sets
- Able to use information from multiple sources to make decisions
- Highly organised and process-driven
- Understanding commercial and customer outcomes from decision-making
- Strong attention to detail
- Adaptable and resilience in a changing environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Drive, enthusiasm and passion for the brand
