This is about analysing how well our online store performs, and using this knowledge to improve the way we do things.
You’ll need to understand our customers, and really get to grips with how data can help every part of our business. It’ll see you come up with new and innovative ideas, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we’re doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we’re opening new stores at lightning speed. And we’re giving customers even more ways to shop at Aldi with our online store.
We are currently based in Tamworth whilst our Head Office in Atherstone gets a makeover, but the plan is to move back once the building is fully geared up to cope with our growth.

We are seeking a Business Analyst on a 12mth FTC, to be part of the WebX or AppX team and will work with the wider business to deliver enhancements that drive successful business outcomes. You will proactively work with stakeholders to deliver improvements to our platforms by working with business stakeholders to elicit, enhance, and document requirements into user stories, ready for development. You will also need to communicate regularly with the business stakeholders to make sure they are bought in to the enhancements that are being implemented.
This is a challenging opportunity for a driven and proactive individual with excellent Business Analyst, communication and organisational skills, excellent ability to understand systems and business processes, analyse complex information and deliver outcomes to stakeholders at multiple levels.

Your New Role
- Working with business stakeholders to effectively elicit, understand, translate and document requirements as user stories
- Analyzes and documents solution processes and metrics, and identifies improvement opportunities
- Analysis of business and user needs
- Influences business partners regarding priorities
- Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes
- Assesses, applies and projects the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients or stakeholders
- Formulates and defines scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
- Work closely with the test stream and oversee the testing requirements based on the solution being provided
- Manage change throughout the full project lifecycle, from the initial benefits case through to detailed scoping/design, operational readiness and to support benefits realisation once live
- Take ownership of one or more areas of work and regularly report to the project manager
- Liaises with internal teams and third party contacts to ensure quality deliverables/solutions are fit for purpose and deliver an ever better customer experience
- Prioritises workload in a changing environment and escalates as needed to ensure deliverables are met on schedule
About You
- As a Business Analyst you will be technically minded but business driven and fully adaptable to a changing environment with a ‘can do’ attitude
- The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality is maintained at all times
- The business analyst will be Logical, efficient, highly self-motivated and directed with a collaborative approach and be highly team-oriented
- Experience in translating complex business problems and user needs into a set of detailed requirements for the end-to-end service or product, with the appropriate use of epics, features, user stories and defined acceptance.
- You will have a Solid understanding of user interaction design, system interactions, data flows and system/process mapping
- Quality oriented with a good track record of delivery with the ability to share your expertise and knowledge to influence team members and external partners on decision making
- The ability to collaborate with the business teams to understand project scope.
- Strong communicator, demonstrating time management and detail orientated attributes
- Previous experience working with ecommerce and migrating platforms would be highly advantageous coupled with a knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

- Salary starting from £50,945 – £58,680 depending on experience
