The eCommerce Assistant will play a vital role within the Aldi eCommerce team. The successful candidate will join the team on a 12month fixed term contract and  maintain an excellent working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will also work closely with the wider ecommerce teams to ensure full alignment is maintained alongside a focus on customer experience and cost. Your New Role

 

  • Daily planning to ensure we can fulfil online customer orders effectively and meet our service level requirements.
  • Communicating and engaging with team members regarding their operational area and any proactive/reactive measures needed. The ideal candidate will have an ability to communicate with colleagues at different levels of the business.
  • Responsible for data analytics to identify trends and use these to drive continuous improvement. When needed, they will be required to share reports and demonstrate operational performance.
  • Continuous improvement and an attitude to not accept the status quo.
  • Relationship building, management and performance improvement of suppliers and key stakeholders.
  • Negotiating the best possible deal for Aldi.
  • Bringing a positive can-do attitude to a highly operation role.

 

About You

 

  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Excel/Data Analysis abilities; able to, as a minimum, create tables, use pivots and process basic formulas.
  • Needs an ability to present data effectively, using visualisation such as charts, presentations etc.
  • Exceptional organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Strong problem solving abilities in a time sensitive environment.
  • Experience having worked with or in an eCommerce / logistics role would be an advantage.
  • Experience in a role involving procurement / negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Evidence of working in a role where data analytics or working with/using large data sets is preferred. Ideally data and information would be used for decision making.

  • Salary starting from £33,035 rising to £38,580
  • 5-day/40-hour week, working Monday- Friday, with the opportunity for remote working 3 days per week.
