eCommerce Experience Lead - Osterley

Full Job Description

This is an exciting new and pivotal role within the growing eCommerce team. Our vision is, quite simply, to deliver an outstanding eCommerce experience, and we have a relentless desire to continuously improve and optimise our products. You will be the guardian of that experience ensuring you are the voice of the customer, leading an Optimisation and Merchandising team to continually test & learn, developing seamless journeys showcasing our outstanding content!
What you’ll do:
  • Lead a team of Merchandisers to create seamless journeys to drive excitement, comprehension and conversion with prospects and existing customers.
  • Responsible for UK & IE Optimisation team to deliver an on-site testing roadmap.
  • Support the Retention team to guarantee we provide engaging journeys driving up-sell and cross-sell to ensure our Members stay longer with us.
  • Support the Partnership team to ensure seamless sales experiences on every device.
  • Provide insight led, strategic recommendations supported by research and data.
  • Work closely with the Digital, CRM and Brand teams to ensure marketing and comms strategies align with on-site journeys and the SEO strategy is in-place.
  • Develop excellent relationships with key senior stakeholders and Design, Product and Technology teams to ensure we are prioritising the right things at the right time and creating a collaborative delivery environment.
What you’ll bring:
  • You are educated to degree level or have experience working at a senior level in eCommerce/digital environments
  • You have excellent leadership skills and have led a team before
  • You possess an in-depth knowledge of eCommerce, derived from experience in a similar role
  • You are data driven and draw insights to constantly optimise
  • Collaboration is intrinsically key in the way you work
  • Confidence and the ability to excite and evangelise with senior stakeholders.

Where you’ll work:
Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
