eCommerce Manager - Bracknell / Remote

We are looking for a eCommerce Manager to join our Store Support Centre in Bracknell. The role offers hybrid working, with 60% office based and 40% home working.

About the role …

The eCommerce Manager for Salon Services will drive our sales growth through our UK professional customer website. You will be supported by 2 eCommerce Merchandisers and a product and promotions information co-ordinator. You will be responsible for the sales and margin performance of the high performing UK Trade website, selling to professional Hair and Beauty customers. In this role, we are looking for someone with strong commercial skills and understanding, highly customer focused on the needs of a professional customer, with strong line management skills.

Key Responsibilities …

  • Identify new opportunities, trends and customer behaviours, and work with the wider business to continue to grow the sales that we have generated in the past few years
  • Understand and work across the business, particularly with Merchandising and Marketing to develop the end-to-end eCommerce proposition for the UK Trade customers
  • Use insight to track competitor activity to understand customer habits and best practices
  • Work with the merchandisers to make on-site improvements and make merchandising decisions
  • Lead a team of people to deliver company and eCommerce objectives. Develop a diverse team, creating an inclusive environment, helping each team member maximise their potential whilst feeling a genuine sense of belonging
  • Work with the eCommerce merchandisers to decide, agree and set up each campaign to support the overall business priorities and activity, determining what works well for the UK eCommerce channel and prioritising accordingly
  • Balancing new product launches with promotional campaigns, ensuring that New Ranges are launched on time and with all the information that a customer needs to find them
  • Act as the main engagement contact for the customer service centre, ensuring they are informed of upcoming campaigns and that their thoughts are incorporated into campaign feedback and planning
