eCommerce Manager – Thorpe Park & Chessington World of Adventures
Location: Thorpe Park Technical Hub, Chertsey

The Role…
We are looking for an eCommerce Manager to join a dynamic and supportive Digital team as the eCommerce expert for Thorpe Park Resort and Chessington World of Adventures Resort. Based at the Merlin Technical Hub in Surrey, you will report into the Head of eCommerce UK and work closely with the respective attraction Marketing teams.
Success in the role requires a collaborative, digitally-minded individual who has a passion for delivering great UX via customer-first digital experiences.
About You…
We’re looking for someone who is all over the business of delivering eCommerce sales, both by developing their own ideas and helping bring best practice tactics to day to execution. You know how to optimise websites and booking platforms for conversion, and can act as a content strategist, maximising digital estate to deliver a perfect mix of sales.
You will be someone who can gather information and represent it creatively and accurately, who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and who can juggle multiple resorts, products and marketing messages.
Additional requirements are:
- Educated to a minimum Degree standard, ideally in Marketing/Business Studies or related subjects.
- Experience of working within a similar eCommerce or digital marketing role, preferably within the leisure or entertainment Industry.
- Versed in creative judgement.
- An excellent communicator and influencer and stakeholder manager.
- Strong organization skills, able to manage workflow digitally, and with a knack for prioritising the most important things.
- Can collaborate easily with others, including ‘virtual’ teams and remote workers in different places.
- Experienced in the use of content management systems, with Umbraco experience a plus.
- Good working knowledge of Google 360 including Analytics and Optimize.
- Some experience of managing mobile apps.
