Ecommerce Manager - Remote
Are you an Ecommerce enthusiast? Do you have experience managing websites? Have you previously managed product launches and website campaigns? At BiGDUG we pride ourselves on offering our customers what they want. We are a growing company, that has recently added two brands to its portfolio of products, hence we are now seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join our growing team. As an Ecommerce Manager you will support the Head of Ecommerce with continuous optimisation of multiple brand websites to maximise the online customer experience, conversion, and revenue per visitor. You’ll manage content and prepare the website for key campaigns and product launches in addition to ensuring product listing pages and landing pages are fully optimised. Using your analytics skills, you’ll proactively identify performance gaps and improvement areas of the website, to optimise the customer experience, and ultimately drive conversions and improve average order value.
Main responsibilities:
- Updating website banners on a seasonal/promotional basis
- Preparing the website for new campaigns
- Creating discount codes, collaborating with wider marketing team to execute promotion
- Auditing the website regularly and undertaking maintenance with the ecommerce platform and then support with problem solving site issues
- Supporting PPC team with feed issues
- Reporting on direct channel performance, attending a monthly trade meeting and communicating results back to the business
- Ad hoc Google Analytics analysis
- Wireframing page layouts
- Optimising the website and thinking creatively “outside the box” to suggest improvements with the use of AB testing, in collaboration with the CRO manager
- Managing web development projects and collaborating with the ecommerce solution
- Creation of landing pages based on promotions and seasonality
What we’re looking for from you:
- Experience in ecommerce, working in a similar role
- Experience in trading/merchandising websites within a fast-paced retail business
- Experience using Google analytics & Tag Manager
- An appreciation of online customer behaviours and how to maximise conversions
- Commercially minded, with experience in spotting and executing growth opportunities
- Knowledge of content management systems
- Enthusiastic and a dynamic attitude with the ability to work well in a team with lots of stakeholders, therefore, communication is key
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ideally experience with Google tag manager
This varied role will enable you to gain valuable experience in a growing company, therefore, this is a key position and pivotal to the success of our business. Please note our main HQ is in Gloucester but the role is remote and can be undertaken from anywhere in the UK.
