E-commerce Product Photography Assistant

We have an excellent graduate opportunity for a passionate individual to join our small in-house photographic/creative department based in our flagship branch in North London. The role will predominantly involve shooting and retouching building materials & DIY products, as well as taking lifestyle shots, for use mainly on our website. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Senior Photographer assisting the day to day running of the photography studio
  • Preparing products for shoots
  • Assisting & leading on photographic shoots
  • Retrieving products from the shop floor for shoots
  • Post editing in Photoshop
  • Editing and preparing images for web use
  • Shooting in-store lifestyle images
  • Uploading images to server & PIM system
  • Perform QA to ensure photo library is up to optimal standard

  • A photography or closely related qualification
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • A keen interest in photography and marketing
  • Ability to work in a fast paced driven environment under pressure
  • Experience shooting products for an e-commerce store is desired
  • Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to strike the required balance between the quality and quantity of work

This role is offered on full time basis and is available immediately.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
