eCommerce Trading Assistant - Funky Pigeon - Bristol / Remote

There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced eCommerce Trading Assistant to join the Funky Pigeon Visual Merchandising team. This role is based at our Head Office in Ashton, South Bristol, however we have a blended approach between office and home working, so you will be able to achieve a great work-life balance.

The main purpose of an eCommerce Trading Assistant is to support the Visual Merchandising Manager & team with online trading of Web & Apps. You will become an expert in our onsite Search & AI tool, continuously focused on optimising results to achieve company KPI’s. Alongside, you will work with the team on the day-to-day trading & running of all platforms. Additionally, you’ll be working closely with the rest of the Commercial & Marketing teams, as well as the Web Design team to ensure continuous optimisation of product listings, landing pages & navigation across all platforms.

What you will be doing:

  • Identifying areas of opportunities within our onsite Search & AI tool
  • Monitoring the performance of platforms and making recommendations to achieve company KPI’s
  • Supporting the VM Manager in producing reports across all platforms
  • Working alongside the team to ensure smooth running of site changes through the wireframes
  • Keep abreast of market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity thus be able to identify market opportunities
  • Build strong cross functional relationships

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience with analysing & interpreting data with high attention to detail
  • You will be self-motivated and able to prioritise workload effectively
  • Proven ability to work within a team with engaging and influential communication skills
  • High level of numeracy
  • A passion for online retail!
