Ecommerce Trading Executive - Bath / Remote

We have an exciting opportunity for an Ecommerce Trading Executive to join our Trading team.
You will have the responsibility for maximising our profitability of the Lovehoney UK & IR sites by driving sales through effective merchandising, product assortment and promotional strategies. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our global teams, including Marketing, Digital Product, Content, Creative, to optimise the customer experience, increase customer loyalty and work towards our commercial objectives.

This role is based 3 days a week in our central Bath office with the other 2 days at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning & setup of commercial activity, creating stock lists & special offers in-line with trading plans, as well as supporting in the optimisation and management of these promotions whilst they are live
  • Briefing Content & Creative teams to ensure commercial messages are effectively communicated, taking into consideration best practice and the local market
  • Manage product categorization, navigation, and search functionality to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive conversion
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to plan and execute successful promotional campaigns, product launches and brand activity
  • Scheduling content and campaign activity to go live on-site, providing clear communications on any changes based on performance to key stakeholders.
  • Working with the Merchandising team & channel leads, make sure all key landing pages are effectively merchandised in accordance with current priorities.
  • Analyse website performance data and use insights to drive decision making in merchandising, product assortment, and promotional strategies
  • Provide regular reporting on e-commerce performance and make recommendations for improvement

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience in e-commerce merchandising, product management, or related role
  • A strong understanding of product categorisation, navigation, and search
  • Experience analysing website performance and be able to use data to make recommendations
  • Any experience working on ecommerce projects, implementing new tools / systems
  • Own key trading metrics such as Conversion rate, Add to Cart Rate, Bounce & Exit rate
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision making
– Knowledge of ecommerce platforms, content management systems, and web analytics tools. Previous experience with Salesforce -Commerce Cloud, Google Analytics, Contentsquare, Amplience desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change
