The Role/Profile

At Ocado Retail, the Ecommerce Transformation Assistant, working in conjunction with the Senior Ecommerce Transformation Executive, has responsibility for supporting the execution of Customer transformation workstreams, including within company-wide programmes, which have the objective of achieving business goals such as personalisation or value perception.

The role requires self-management across project managing multiple concurrent priorities, with strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Senior Ecommerce Transformation Executive to enable perfect implementation and on-going delivery of new and innovative commercial opportunities, you will work closely alongside digital dev, marketing, merchandising and creative teams
  • Supporting the on-going development of our trading calendar across events and promotions on-site, working closely with our creative and merchandising teams
  • Reviewing and testing Ecommerce features and functionality delivery, ensuring they meet the requested scope and supporting with understanding that their performance demonstrates that it aligns to both customer and commercial needs, working alongside the business Transformation Team and customer experience
  • Assisting the development and documentation of best practices, processes and guidelines to support transition of features and functionality to BAU teams
  • Helping with scoping, manipulating and interpreting analysis, reporting and research to effectively track KPI performance across owned areas, helping to identify opportunities to improve customer experience
  • Aiding the broader Ecommerce team to achieve their goals, supporting ad-hoc requests as required such as review monitoring

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working in Ecommerce desirable though not essential
  • Minimum 2:1 degree
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Good IT skills across Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), PC literate and comfortable with learning new systems
  • Experience in working to deadlines, highly organised, flexible and dynamic
