Apricot is a fast-growing multi-channel women’s fashion brand that is passionate about print. Bringing something fresh and new to the high street, Apricot aspires to deliver what every woman’s wardrobe needs – from well produced staples to limited edition and trend-led fashion pieces.

We are experiencing unprecedented success and growth and we now have the opportunity for a Copywriter to join the team. As the Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for producing product copy, editorial content, and social media content. Working closely with the business owners, you will ensure that all copy reflects the tone of voice and the personality of the brand.

The Role:

· Writing and editing compelling and accurate ecommerce product copy for the Apricot website, concession partner websites and marketplace partners that drives overall SEO

· Understand and maintain the tone of voice for the brand, reflecting this in all copy

· Writing and editing compelling and creative copy for e-mails, website homepage, landing pages and other creative editorial content

· Proofreading product and editorial copy to maintain brand style and accuracy

· Managing workload and delivering copy to deadline

· Maintain awareness of trends and competitors within the editorial sphere

· Other copywriting tasks as required

The Profile:

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a digital ladies fashion environment

· Exceptional proofreading skills and accuracy, with a meticulous eye for detail, language, flow and grammar

· Strong creative thinking and ability to think conceptually

· Demonstrable aptitude and experience in writing engaging copy on and off line

· Experience in producing social media and blog content for fashion retail brands

· Ability to work independently to deliver accurate work to strict deadlines

Our office is based close to Moorgate tube station. Candidates must be willing to come into the office 4 days per week.
