Global E-Commerce Insights Analyst - London / Remote

Do you understand the drivers of performance in ecommerce & have the ability to effectively drive commercial decisions based on insights?

 

We are looking for strong insights analyst to join our team and help us reach even more shoppers across the world! You will have a global remit and drive analysis to help optimize our commercial performance.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Understand & communicate the drivers of performance, often considering a certain strategic lens such as the growth of new audiences on the site.
  • Partner with commercial & engagement teams (e.g. regional trading, content creation etc.) to support decisions-making via powerful analysis.
  • Conduct deep dives to understand the health of the site, e.g. areas performing above or below expectations and the reasons behind.
  • Build out regular business overview presentations which give actionable insights in relation to E-Com business performance and its shopper base
  • Build and maintain key shared dashboards within Adobe Analytics & Tableau, keeping in mind the needs of the users across the business.
  • Support to significant marketing events, e.g. Black Friday/Cyber Monday, using owned and 3rd party data sources

How we use data in the LEGO.com team is changing in light of the new cookie guidelines, no longer can we rely solely on web analytics – we need to broaden our data sets. The ideal candidate will play a key part in defining and delivering how we now need to use data to support the continued growth of the LEGO.com flagship experience.

Working alongside the key data owners in LEGO, supported by a key data strategy, this role will look more broadly than web analytics and drive forward how we pull in multiple data sources to continue to make data-driven decisions.

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • BA or equivalent in analytics, computer science, maths, Data Science, Big Data or other related fields
  • Experience from an insights and analytics environment (with experience in Adobe Analytics or similar, Tableau dashboards, SQL-based databases and curating data views)
  • Experience in web analytics
  • Advanced SQL skills is a requirement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills incl. visualization
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills & ability to engage in decision-making dialogues with commercial partners
  • A hard-working, positive approach and determination to overcome obstacles
