Head of Ecommerce - Swindon

This Head of Ecommerce role is an exciting opportunity for a confident digital leader looking to deliver a ‘big picture’ strategic agenda.

The opportunity includes ownership of a 1-3-year ecommerce transformation program that whilst open to shaping, will encompass a repositioning of Oak Furnitureland’s online proposition.

As the owner of ecommerce transformation, you will be given a significant budget to reposition the Oak Furnitureland brand online, developing an online customer experience that’s fit for the modern day (and future) shopper and one that underpins a market-leading omnichannel proposition.

As part of this Head of Ecommerce role, you will leverage technology to enrich a multi-channel customer experience, build a greater understanding of the end-to-end customer journey, and innovate to create a unique yet relevant point of difference in the CX space for Oak Furnitureland.

You will have a proven record in building high performing results-driven teams, setting clear accountabilities to drive delivery of an omnichannel ecommerce agenda that supports the business plan.

You will need to work closely with dedicated in-house front-end development and design teams to drive your ecommerce agenda forward, supported by digital agencies supporting insight and CRO.

A customer-first mindset will form an important part your ecommerce agenda and underpin the creation of a market leading omnichannel customer experience.

A strong retail trading mentality is key, but a proven record in strategic digital delivery is essential to this Head of Ecommerce role. The candidate will be expected to own ecommerce transformation, ensuring OFL is positioned to leverage future digital opportunity.
