THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Head of Marketing who will lead all of our marketing activities from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects to work in our Head Office in, Stepney Green, London.

As the Head of Marketing, you will need to apply strong, inspirational leadership skills to manage and motivate the marketing team to deliver marketing activities, campaigns, and collaborations as well as build customer engagement to increase brand awareness and drive sales.

The role will require direct work with the digital team, brand managers, design, eCommerce, social media, copywriters, PR, and executives, to ensure all marketing campaigns are in alignment with the core brand message.

Head of Marketing responsibilities includes developing plans to help establish our brand, allocating resources to different projects, and setting short-term and long-term department goals. If you’re a skilled marketing strategist, able to inspire your team members, we’d like to meet you. Previous experience in the world of fragrance and beauty is a plus, but not essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Identify sharp consumer, product, and market (including competitor where relevant) insights to fuel ideation, creation, and origination across the business for your categories, whilst building credibility & influence
  • Identify new category opportunities and work with cross-functional partners to take these from ideation to launch.
  • Work with the head of sales, head of art & product vision to strategize, plan & integrate marketing campaigns that are digital-first and power the shift to online, but always integrate across channels.
  • Work with the product development team, regional insights, and the Sunnamusk creative team to shape product positioning and define a sharp product concept with irresistible unique selling points and compelling reasons to believe.
  • Work with the copywriters to write all new product treatments, product stories, pack copy, press notes, product names, and shade names.
  • Communicate briefs to the creative agency, communications, visual merchandising, tech, and store design teams to spark ideation, creation, and origination for ground-breaking campaigns and activations.
  • Take projects through each step from the kernel of an idea, through development, execution, and measurement – review, tying together each function, to deliver cohesively on time and within the budget, adhering to the critical path analysis and allowing for iteration towards the exceptional.
  • Collaborate with Regions UK & Europe to ensure activities are integrated across channels, touchpoints, and paid/owned/earned, with a consistent messaging/projection, whilst solving for local relevance by dialing up relevant elements.
  • Regularly communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders to seek alignment and support, from the founder to the regions.
  • Craft marketing toolkits that excite and mobilize the business behind activities, making them easy to execute.

ABOUT YOU

  • Work experience as head of marketing or VP of Marketing, preferably within our industry
  • Experience running successful marketing campaigns
  • Strategic thinker and proven fast-paced results driver

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Listed below is the process we follow whilst recruiting the right candidates

  • First stage Interview – Telephone/Zoom interview with the recruitment team
  • Second Stage Interview – Face to Face Interview with Head of Operations & CEO
  • If successful after the second stage interview – Full training will be given throughout the 12-week probationary period.
  • After a successful 12-week probationary period you will receive your permanent offer of employment with Sunnamusk.
