Apricot is a fast-growing multi-channel women’s fashion brand that is passionate about print. Bringing something fresh and new to the high street, Apricot aspires to deliver what every woman’s wardrobe needs – from well produced staples to limited edition and trend-led fashion pieces.
We are looking for a driven and experienced individual to join as Head of Ecommerce on an initial 6-month maternity contract. It is a great time to join the company as our online business has been through the largest overhaul since its inception. This individual will lead and drive these technical and customer experience improvements.
The Role:
- Lead and report on all technical issues and ongoing projects.
- Maximise online sales through maximising conversion, site traffic and ATV
- Work with & report on all internal & external stakeholders’ meetings.
- Lead the Ecommerce team, motivating and developing them.
- Analyse, optimise & report on all online customer journeys & conversion
- Investigate & help resolve any issues affecting the interaction of the ERP & BM.
- Continually work to prevent and remove any blockers to sale.
- Critique platform and product performances; recommending and implementing optimisations such product recommendations, merchandising and so on.
- Implement bi-weekly homepage design updates across all online channels; in line with marketing emails and sitewide operations.
- Report and analyse the – weekly trade report and share quick weekly wins.
- Analyse and report upon competitor activity; including offers, social media
- Work closely with third parties- FM & SFCC to develop both platforms
- Manage third-party modules inc.marketing, affiliates & paid shopping campaigns.
- Create, develop, and implement strategies to improve the overall UX on the site and increase online sales in the UK and internationally.
The Profile:
The successful individual will have at least 8 years’ demonstrable experience managing an Ecommerce department containing merchandising, operations, marketing & customer services. An understanding of womenswear retail is essential.
A key focus for the brand is delivering seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Minimum of eight years’ experience managing/leading an ecommerce team.
- Strong experience of the Salesforce ecommerce platform is essential
- Strong experience working with a WMS or ERP.
- Experience of email marketing platforms such as SF marketing cloud, dot digital or bloomreach
- Experience of the Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Strong experience of Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a big team of colleagues
- Proactive & driven to ensure the online business is maximised to its full potential
- Ability to analyse, track and improve the online customer journey.
- A solid understanding of or experience in womenswear retail is preferred.
- Clear and effective communicator, comfortable presenting to all levels within the business
- Ability to adhere to tight deadlines; both planned and reactionary
Our office is based close to Moorgate tube station. Candidates must be willing to come into the office for a minimum of 4 days per week.
