We are looking for a keen and passionate Marketing Executive to join our growing team in Whiteley. As Marketing Executive, your role will be to manage Google AdWords PPC campaigns for our sales channel PhonesDirect.com, improving the profitability of campaigns, as well as the management and growth of marketing channels for both Phones Direct and WeBuyAnyPhone. You will manage the advertising and marketing strategy and content to ensure the best outcome for the business.

Your role will involve:

• Managing Google AdWords Campaigns for our Shopify ecommerce platform
• Continually testing new strategies for improving profitability of campaigns
• Identifying potential website changes that will contribute to overall profitability
• Creating new campaigns from scratch including copy writing
• Reporting on PPC performance through daily KPIs
• Using data from Shopify, Google AdWords, and SEMrush to analyse PPC performance
• Depending on success, there is scope for you to progress and become a key stakeholder within the company
• Opportunity to expand marketing projects beyond Google AdWords
• Opportunity to take over managing marketing for the well-established brand WeBuyAnyPhone.com

This is a data-driven role, designed to push the performance of our ecommerce platforms. You will be directly incentivised based on the performance of our ecommerce platforms and Adwords, Analytics and CPT optimisation are the primary functions of the role. Secondary functions include copywriting, campaign planning and SEO optimisation. Creative design is already covered by our in-house design team. You will be reporting directly to the head of commercial and managing budgets of over £100k per month.

You’re the person we are looking for if:

• You have experience with managing Google AdWords (essential)
• You have experience with ecommerce (desirable)
• You have experience with Shopify (desirable)
• You have an analytical mindset – will need to break down data from multiple sources to inform decision making
• You are independent – will need to use own initiative to come up with solutions and improve performance
• You are keen to make an impact on key sales channels
• You are eager to progress within a growing ecommerce brand – this role naturally progresses into the role of Marketing Manager for the right person
• You are comfortable working without micromanagement
• You can understand how you contribute to business profitability and brand growth
• You have experience within a marketing agency (ideal but not essential)

Working hours & location:

• Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
• Office based – Whiteley
• No bank holidays
• No evenings
• No weekends
