PPC Executive – Performance Media
We’re looking for a new PPC Executive to join our award-winning Performance Media team to work across our Paid Search activity spanning all Boots UK product categories, driving incremental growth through scientific optimisation. You will be performance-focused, working closely with key departments such as Marketing and Ecommerce and combining this internal knowledge with your Paid Media experience to deliver best-in-class PPC activation for Boots UK.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the management and implementation of large-scale Google and Microsoft (Bing) PPC campaigns for Boots retail, Boots Pharmacy and partner brands, ensuring target ROAS and KPIs are met.
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of the PPC strategy for all key product categories including budget management, optimising towards KPIs, setting priorities and giving direction to our Agency PPC team who are responsible for campaign build and execution.
- Measurement and reporting of PPC activity, including producing reports and communicating Paid Search results to internal and external stakeholders, continuously showcasing the value being driven by your channel.
- Informing the long term PPC strategy, keeping pace with search engine developments and PPC trends to suggest ways in which the business can leverage these for growth.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Ecommerce Managers, Marketing Specialists, IT and Finance teams, to ensure the PPC channel is supporting business priorities, wider marketing campaigns and key projects.
- The management of a Tier One Google Account and working in close proximity with some of the best Retail talent Google has to offer.
The Performance Media team sits within our Marketing department and is responsible for driving forward the Paid Media Strategy for Boots UK, covering performance marketing channels such as PPC, Affiliates, Display and Paid Social.
A bit about you…
- A passion for PPC, with a performance-driven growth mindset, keen to make a huge difference across the UK’s biggest healthcare retailer.
- Experience in a similar PPC role at either agency or in-house level (hands on experience with SA360, Google Analytics and Google Ads is desirable).
- Proficiency in managing large scale marketing budgets and ensuring optimal deployment in-channel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are essential as are the ability to craft a story from data.
- A passion for the wider landscape of Digital Marketing with a hunger for developing your knowledge.
