Senior eCommerce Development & Portfolio Manager - London

As our new Senior eCommerce Development & Portfolio Manager for LEGO.com, you’ll have a global remit and oversee the portfolio of activities to bring our channel strategy to life.

This role can be based either in London, UK or Billund, Denmark.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee the portfolio of business initiatives supporting growth of LEGO.com globally.
  • Shape the execution of our D2C strategy, ensuring strategic alignment, sound prioritisation and decision-making on trade-off. Focus on ecomm but with alignment to physical retail.
  • Lead the monthly release of budget & headcounts in line with agreed strategic priorities for LEGO.com. Close collaboration with Senior Management, Finance & HR.
  • Work with portfolio managers and project leaders across teams to ensure clarity on upcoming deliveries, risks/opportunities and performance. This will include ecommerce teams, marketing, product development, supply chain, digital etc. (all global teams). Dynamically assess the need to change plans based on market performance.
  • Drive communication on strategic alignment, progress & challenges to senior management and the broader team within ecommerce & beyond (written & verbal). Visualise & showcase activities in ways that allows collaborators at various levels to stay connected.

The Strategy & Growth team plays a vital role in enabling our ambitions with LEGO.com and the team is responsible for the eCommerce strategy, orchestration of its execution across the full business as well as driving critical growth initiatives.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Strong experience from a top-tier consultancy or business development function in a global company
  • Proven track record of commercial program management (preferably within ecomm/digital) with the ability to move between strategic discussions and operational details. Preferably with budget responsibility.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and stay on top of a constantly evolving portfolio of activities.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with strong experience in leading strategic trade-offs discussions with senior collaborators.
  • Preferably experience with portfolio management and experience working with agile & none-agile delivery methods.
