Senior Ecommerce Manager - Chelmsford

Position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Ecommerce Manager to lead Benefit Cosmetics Ecommerce Function, to achieve high levels of growth and to lead a centre of excellence for ecommerce execution. You must have a strong sales background, sharp negotiation skills, be passionate about leading a team, an effective relationship builder, a keen collaborator, and demonstrable experience in building and executing effective digital marketing strategies to drive the financial and brand targets.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for a number of Etailer accounts, building and delivering their strategies, driving growth, managing budgets and relationships, and leading a team.

 

Profile

  • Lead the Ecommerce strategy for the business, through both hands on performance, and broader strategic goal setting.
  • Achieve ambitious sales and growth targets on all key accounts, amplifying always on core business, and key seasonal NPD moments.
  • Accurately forecast, agree, and achieve wholesale and retail sales by account ensuring forecasts and targets are achieved.
  • Analyse and optimise performance weekly, keeping an agile approach to achieving the overall goals. Identify areas of opportunity or risk whilst ensuring KPI’s and targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate with the National Accounts Team to collaboratively achieve success on key accounts.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with the Finance team to deliver strong financial targets in line with overall business needs
  • Build and maintain retailer relationships within your designated accounts, to drive Benefit’s performance and maximise our onsite visibility and share of voice.
  • Drive brand desirability and affinity through best in class commercial and digital marketing plans, measured by rank, growth, and market share.
  • Lead and develop the Ecommerce team, giving clear direction, structured support, good experience, and a focus on progression and development to ensure the culture of community is maintained.

 

Additional information

  • Previous senior leadership in a similar role with a passion for Beauty.
  • Possess strong negotiation skills and be an effective communicator.
  • Keen collaborator and strong Benefit brand representative
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Possess strong prioritization, organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint at an advanced level.
  • Strong people management, development and leadership skills
