Location: Gatwick / London or York – hybrid working
Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + 12 flexible days in addition to holiday entitlement + free Nespresso machine and monthly coffee allowance + other fantastic benefits

Position Summary
The Nespresso Team are looking for talented eCommerce professionals to join our already high-performing coffee business to continue our digital acceleration. We’re increasing our investment in digital – for the long term – Investing in talent, building agility and unlocking potential.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior eCommerce Operations Specialist to join our digital team where you will be responsible for contributing to the management of the day-to-day content related activities of the digital channels (Website, Mobile app, social…) by:
- Contributing to the overall objective of providing best-in-class digital user experience across eCommerce touchpoints
- Driving the execution of campaign operations, providing project support to all relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to globally defined eMerchandising guidelines & optimization of the digital customer experience.
- Participating in the planning of the yearly digital activities on Nespresso eCommerce platforms in order to ensure that eCommerce, Customer & CRM roadmaps are taken into account within local ecommerce operation plan.
- Driving Nespresso Plus from a planning and digital operations perspective

A day in the life of an Senior eCommerce Operations Specialist …
As Senior eCommerce Operations Specialist, there are 3 key aspects to your role. These are: owning the day-to-day running of digital touchpoints and key delivery of allocated projects, developing Digital Channels performance and ensuring compliance. You will do this by:
- Supporting brand consistency of digital experiences delivered on all eCommerce touchpoints
- Building out project plans, stakeholder management, monitoring and delivery so that customers have a seamless experience and optimized purchasing path from call-to-actions to landing pages
- Coordinating the integration of all product launches and digital campaigns into the content management system (copy, visuals, banners) for both global and local campaigns; Ensuring planning of activities (including eCommerce Operations specialist activities) include enough time for set-up, test and final publishing.
- Driving QA agenda
- Driving communication and reporting out of the eCommerce Operations to the wider business
- Working with eCommerce Performance and B2C Commercial teams to monitor digital KPIs with a strong focus on customer journey, behaviours and how we can operationally drive performance
- Working closely with the technical team to support the development of Developer Experience (DX) best practices and tools geared towards Nespresso UK&I
- Driving the capture, documentation and sharing of best practices
- Lead key eCommerce projects
- Support key business projects with a digital dimension
- Working closely with our newly formed PMO Team to ensure cross channel communication of project status within the portfolio and portfolio visibility
- Monitoring Customer feedback on all digital touchpoints from all available sources.
- Supporting the build with Insights on Online Customer Journey and turn them into actions from merchandising optimisations to maximize channel performance through test & learn activities up to HQ roadmap evolution.
- Optimizing digital channels backend performance with CRC stakeholders
- Ensuring all activities are aligned and validated with Local & HQ relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring all content, legal terms & conditions are compliant with local laws and Nestlé Nespresso guidelines and that any technical issues with digital boutiques are logged, monitored, followed and escalated when need be according to Nestlé Nespresso guidelines
What will make you successful?
The successful candidate will bring previous experience in the FMCG D2C sector and a proven track record in eCommerce platforms management (including mobile).
You will have a wealth of experience running a multi-million pound website (Content Management, Merchandising, A/B testing and website QA) and a good understanding of the online acquisition activities and their impact on eCommerce sites.
Previous QA and ecommerce structured testing and testing methodologies experience is essential.
Knowledge of Google Analytics is preferred
