SEO Executive - Wiltshire / Remote
Full Job Description
We’re seeking a talented SEO executive who’s passionate about all things search. You’ll be joining our team of creative masterminds, where you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing our search strategy and helping us reach new heights.
As our SEO executive, you’ll be focused on crafting compelling copy, collaborating with bloggers and media outlets, as well as diving into the nitty-gritty of technical optimisation.
You’ll sit within our media team and report to our SEO manager, but you’ll also work closely with the Content and PR team, along with other areas of the business such as ecommerce, design, product and retail.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed content briefs
- Write content for category and Inspiration Station landing pages plus blogger collaborations
- Analysing and implementing technical improvements to help support best practices and organic growth
- Work closely with content, social and PR team to identify opportunities to build external links
- Create and update on-page elements; page titles, headers, alt tags, meta descriptions
- Performing topic research to optimise existing content and uncover new opportunities
- Designing and building content hubs
- Implement internal linking strategy
- Review data in Google Search Console and propose fixes
- Analysis into Google algorithm updates
- Regularly testing SEO theories
- Monthly reporting around search performance and competitor landscape, providing recommendations and strategies for continued improvement
- Attend and contribute to weekly meetings with both internal and external stakeholders
Skills/Experience:
- Proven SEO experience ideally within an agency or in-house
- Solid understanding of all aspects of SEO; content creation, technical, on-page and outreach
- The ability to produce accurate, engaging copy is vital
- Experience in digital PR, with an understanding of its impact on SEO
- In-depth experience with Google Search Console and SEMRush (or similar)
- An understanding of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and WordPress
- Google Analytics (GA360 or GA4)
- Analytical with strong Excel skills
- Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, including being confident presenting to the wider marketing team
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
