SEO Lead - Leeds / Remote
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of developing Asda’s SEO (search engine optimisation) strategy and execution. As Asda’s SEO lead, working as part of Ecommerce, you’ll be responsible for defining our approach to SEO and delivering organic visibility across core events and categories.
The role represents an opportunity to shape SEO at Asda, and deliver core SEO growth metrics. Building cross – function relationships is a core part of this role – working with analytics, marketing, PR, development and our SEO agency, to name a few!
What we need from you:
- A love of online & SEO!
- Comfortable spotting and acting on opportunities.
- At least 2 years’ experience in Organic Search, with a proven track record for delivering growth in traffic, rankings, site speed etc.
- Technical SEO & basic levels of Web Development, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Copywriting skills.
- Google Analytics & Google Search Console.
- Experience with SEO/Organic SaaS & tools.
- Data & Reporting skills
- Local search optimisation, Google Maps etc
A flare for SEO,performance driven mind-set and a love of online is essential for this role!
