Job Description

We are seeking a digital leader, energized to play a key role in developing ecommerce channel strategy and further strengthening digital skills, capabilities and infrastructure for one of our core Market Groups.

 

The journey ahead and ambitions:

 

As Vice President, B2B Ecommerce for the Western Europe Market Group, you will lead a team of highly skilled regional eCommerce experts. This role is important in helping us achieve our future growth plans by lifting our e-commerce strategies and execution with our B2B customers.

 

As the leader for this area, you are accountable for the execution of digital/eCommerce-related activities within the region, responsible for the digital shopper team’s development, and play an important role in building up commercial capabilities in this space.

 

You will lead all aspects of The LEGO Groups’ business with Amazon EU; our biggest and most strategic partner in the region. Together with the global eCommerce Center of Excellence, you will design, run and optimize digital shopper funnel to support the marketing strategy defined with our regional marketing team to drive commercial results. You will work closely with our global Product and Marketing Development organization and the dedicated LEGO Agency who will support you with eCommerce-focused product and campaign content, as well as assortment and packaging development. Additionally, this role partners with our Digital Product organization and Data Office to ensure the needs of B2B eCommerce are reflected in the Company Digital Product and Data roadmaps.

 

  • Your purpose and mission will be to lead, develop and execute a coherent digital shopper approach that leverages the strengths of the LEGO® brand as well as our unique Operating Model. You will enable your team and the larger regional commercial organization by innovating our digital shopper strategy and ecommerce execution. You will generate impact and value for our customers and shoppers so that we inspire and develop many more builders of tomorrow. This will include effective management to achieve target critical metrics, leading strategic projects, and prioritizing top initiatives within an agile working environment.

 

This position will report into our Regional President for Western Europe and will sit on the Western Europe Leadership Team.

 

Your unique mission:

  • Champion regional way of working with your Western Europe peers and successfully lead a cross-functional digital shopper team of passionate and capable colleagues who work in an agile context!
  • Develop and inspire a team with responsibility for commercial development, digital platform and customer site-based performance marketing, digital merchandising, retail activation, and regional customer (Amazon) interface
  • Accountable for key regional eCommerce customer (Amazon) performance, delivery of commercial targets and handling performance and budget trade-offs
  • Input into global channel and digital shopper strategy and translate global plans into high impact regional eCommerce strategy and execution.
  • Lead all aspects of regional eCommerce and digital shopper budgets in the market group, while delivering commercial and shopper KPIs
  • Support eCommerce teams in local BUs to ensure that they are enabled with eCommerce strategy, investment, resource, technology and tools to deliver outstanding eCommerce execution with all of our B2B Pure Play and Omni Channel customers
  • Partner with the Global eCommerce teams and the Global Digital Product and the Data office to build and execute B2B Digital Product and Data roadmap
  • Work with peer eCommerce regional heads to ensure consistent execution of eCommerce strategy to promote best practice development and deployment across regions
  • Play a broad leadership role as a member of your market group leadership team.
  • Empower, grow, and retain eCommerce talent by building a strong and collaborative work environment

 

What you will bring in your toolbox:

  • Significant experience within organizations digitally focused on eCommerce sales, merchandising, and marketing for a global brand.
  • Experience in both eCommerce strategy and execution, including content, search, performance marketing, analytics, and marketing technology.
  • Expertise with business analysis and critical metric tracking within online environment.
  • Significant experience in global and/or regional project management and implementation, including with remote teams.
  • Proven track record of inspiring teams to embrace and thrive within Agile ways of working and open to embracing a test and learn culture
  • Significant experience working with C-Level executives
