Position Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and commercially minded E-commerce Copywriter to join our team. This role is highly collaborative and central to shaping our brand's voice, ensuring our online store and marketing channels are engaging, persuasive, and optimised for commercial search. You’ll play a key role in adding compelling copy across the entire customer journey, from product descriptions and category pages to social media output, blogs, and editorial articles.

Key Responsibilities
- Write compelling and engaging copy for the website including product descriptions, promotions, category pages, articles, guides, emails, social media and more
- Contributing to and shaping organic social media output
- Work closely with 3rd parties and proofread and implement agency-led content optimisations and guidance
- Help maintain the quality and accuracy of content through the site
- Evolve tone of voice guidelines for our brand values and consistency across channels
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to work, showing initiative, suggesting ideas to continuously improve quality and ways to increase efficiencies within team and department
- Work to a content brief and deadline, ensuring all keywords and topics are met
- Experienced in working within digital content writing
- Commercial understanding - with the ability to apply this to all copy
- Ability to work under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment
- Experienced in demonstrating strong attention to detail
- Highly literate with a writing style that is accurate and adaptable, with an impeccable use of spelling and grammar
Candidate Profile
- Highly motivated
- Previous experience in an ecommerce/website role (desirable but not essential).
- Proficient in using CMS/admin panels/WordPress (experience with in-house systems an advantage).
- Good communication skills - able to liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders where required.
- Knowledgeable of SEO best practices (Desirable)
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Exhibits a positive and professional demeanour.
- Capable of independent work and driving tasks to completion
- Team player, adaptable to the dynamic needs of the business
