About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented E-Commerce Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support and optimise our online trading strategy across multiple websites and key retail partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced digital retail environment, combines strong commercial acumen with a passion for enhancing the online customer experience, and knows how to turn data-driven insights into actions that drive sales and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Front-End Merchandising
- Collaborate with marketing and buying teams to ensure homepages, landing pages, banners, and navigation reflect current campaigns and product priorities.
- Analyse key on-site performance metrics (CTR, conversion rate, bounce rate) and make data-led recommendations to optimise performance.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure visual consistency, accurate pricing, and a seamless shopping experience.
- Work with the wider eCommerce team to identify and optimise user journeys, enhancing engagement and conversion.
Account Management
- Act as the main point of contact for a major online retail partner, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
- Manage and execute partner marketing briefs, ensuring timely delivery and brand alignment.
- Plan and execute engaging content and promotional campaigns to maximise visibility and sales.
- Lead regular performance reviews and campaign debriefs to share insights and identify growth opportunities.
Trading & Reporting
- Support the E-Commerce Manager in delivering trading plans to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Monitor daily and weekly sales performance, highlighting key trends and opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of promotional strategies and trading forecasts.
Skills/Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in an e-commerce, digital merchandising, or online trading role (ideally within retail or FMCG).
- Strong understanding of online retail best practices, UX, and merchandising principles.
- Experience working with web analytical tools (e.g., GA4, Looker Studio, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, PowerBI or similar).
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator and collaborator, comfortable working cross-functionally and with external partners.
