About the Role:
Are you someone who loves making products look their best online and knows how to turn great content into commercial results?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, creativity and problem-solving all matter?
Are you looking for your next challenge with a leading workwear brand that is growing across marketplaces and direct-to-consumer channels?
If so, we’d love to meet you.
At Scruffs Workwear, our digital channels are expanding quickly, and we need someone who can take real ownership of how our products appear online. This role is responsible for making sure Scruffs products are accurate, visible, compelling and easy to buy across marketplaces, Scruffs.com and key customer websites.
We’re looking for someone who is switched on, detail-driven and excited by the opportunity to shape how customers experience our brand online.
This is about much more than uploading products. You’ll need to understand what makes a listing convert, spot gaps before they become problems, and ensure every page, from marketplace listings and A+ content to category filters and product collections, is accurate, easy to navigate and built to perform.
You’ll work closely with our Product, Sales, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Creative teams to bring our ranges to life, keep our platforms running smoothly, and help customers find exactly what they need.
If you’re proactive, curious and ready to play a key role in how Scruffs shows up online, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace
- Create, maintain and optimise marketplace listings across key platforms.
- Optimise product titles, bullets, descriptions, imagery, variation structures and A+ content to improve visibility, conversion and customer experience.
- Maintain catalogue accuracy through structured listing audits, lifecycle checks and regular content reviews.
- Identify and resolve marketplace listing issues including suppressed products, incorrect attributes, variation errors, missing content, image rejections and pricing inconsistencies.
- Ensure product specifications, imagery, pricing and content are accurate, complete and aligned with brand standards.
- Review customer feedback, search data and performance insights to improve listing quality and conversion.
- Ensure Scruffs is positioned consistently and competitively across online categories.
Scruffs.com
- Set up and maintain product pages, categorisation, filters and merchandising using Shopify and D365.
- Ensure products are displayed in the right collections and sub-collections, making it easy for customers to find what they need.
- Support the delivery of the promotional calendar, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, sales events and brand storytelling.
- Improve onsite search performance by using customer language, search terms and product knowledge.
- Maintain strong content standards across product pages, ensuring copy, imagery, specifications and category placement are accurate and commercially effective.
- Support improvements to the customer journey, helping to make Scruffs.com easier to navigate and stronger commercially.
Customer & Retailer E-Commerce Sites
- Conduct regular reviews of customer and distributor websites to check product information, imagery, pricing, categorisation and brand presentation.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies or outdated content across customer websites and support the required updates.
- Help ensure Scruffs products are represented accurately and consistently across direct and indirect e-commerce channels.
- Support customer content requests by coordinating product information, imagery, copy, specifications and launch assets.
Product Launches & Channel Readiness
- Support new product launches by ensuring product data, imagery, copy, specifications, pricing and categorisation are ready before launch dates.
- Use product trackers, intake calendars and launch plans to ensure stock is made available online quickly and accurately.
- Attribute product lines accurately to ensure visibility, correct linking and a strong customer experience.
- Work with Product, Sales and Supply Chain teams to understand range priorities, stock availability, exclusions and launch timings.
- Maintain not-online lists, launch trackers and channel requirements to support smooth execution.
Category and Product Alignment
- Support the delivery of category plans online by ensuring focus products, key ranges and seasonal priorities are represented correctly across all e-commerce channels.
- Build strong product knowledge by attending launch reviews, product meetings and range discussions.
- Understand each product’s role in the range and how it should be positioned to different customer and end-user groups.
- Ensure the online customer experience reflects the needs of each end user, whether they are shopping by trade, task, product type or feature.
- Monitor online performance against agreed KPIs and identify actions to improve visibility, conversion and product presentation.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Use analytics, search data, customer behaviour and sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor product visibility, conversion, traffic, search performance and stock availability across channels.
- Recommend improvements to product content, categorisation, filters, imagery, copy and online merchandising.
- Assess current processes and suggest practical improvements to make e-commerce activity more efficient and effective.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with product content across e-commerce platforms.
- Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central experience would be a strong advantage.
- Experience with Shopify, D365, Airtable or similar e-commerce and product data tools.
- Confident working with data and analytics to support decisions, including search performance, conversion rates, sales trends and stock availability.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and take action quickly.
- A good understanding of what makes product content clear, useful and commercially effective.
- Comfortable working across multiple channels, customers and product categories.
- Able to manage priorities and keep work moving in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident working with internal teams including Product, Sales, Supply Chain and Marketing.
