The role in short

Working closely with the Head of Marketplaces, you will support the creation and optimisation of product listings, enhance content across key online platforms, and contribute to the ongoing growth and performance of our marketplace channels. You may also assist with additional marketplace activities as required.

You’ll be part of a dynamic and growing team, helping shape and optimise our presence across some of the UK’s top online marketplaces. If you’re detail-oriented, digitally savvy, and ready to make an impact in e-commerce, we’d love to hear from you.

Salary: £27,500-£30,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week.

Onto the nitty gritty!

Working as a E-Commerce Marketplace Administrator you will be required to:
· Support the optimisation of existing product listings to improve SEO performance and conversion rates.

· Create and maintain new product listings across marketplaces, ensuring compliance with platform specifications.

· Prioritise listings in line with strategic direction set by the Head of Marketplaces.

· Monitor and investigate delayed or problematic orders, coordinating with the Customer Service team to resolve issues or offer alternatives.

· Identify and escalate system or order processing issues, including automation failures, to the IT team.

· Assist with the development of high-quality, engaging marketplace content, including enhanced product descriptions and imagery.

· Review customer feedback and marketplace compliance issues, taking action to resolve or escalate where necessary.

· Regularly audit and update listings to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and improved conversion.

· Support additional marketplace and channel activities as required by the Head of Marketplaces.

We’d like to meet someone with:
· Previous experience selling on marketplaces (e.g. Amazon and eBay) is desirable.

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to think both analytically and logically.

· Confident in identifying issues and taking initiative to find practical solutions.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

· Clear written and verbal communication skills.

· Well organised, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.

· Commercially aware with a proactive, can-do attitude.

· Experience using content creation tools such as Canva or Photoshop is an advantage.
