E-COMMERCE & MARKETPLACE MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised E-Commerce & Marketplace Manager to join our growing business within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

This role will involve the day-to-day management of our online sales channels, including Amazon, eBay, B&Q Marketplace, and our Shopify website. You will play a key role in driving marketplace growth, improving listings and account performance, managing stock and supplier orders, and delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Amazon Seller Central, FBA operations, marketplace optimisation, and e-commerce systems, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve sales and operational efficiency.

Salary is dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining the company’s e-commerce platforms:
• Amazon
• eBay
• B&Q Marketplace
• Shopify website
• Creating, updating, and optimising product listings across all marketplaces
• Updating product images, descriptions, pricing, keywords, and product information
• Managing an extensive product catalogue and ensuring listings are uploaded accurately and efficiently
• Monitoring listing quality and continuously improving content to maximise sales performance
• Managing Amazon account health and marketplace performance
• Working on Buy Box optimisation and pricing strategies
• Managing Amazon FBA shipments, replenishment, and inventory planning
• Booking in shipments and coordinating stock movement for Amazon FBA
• Placing orders with factories and UK suppliers
• Implementing strategies to improve reviews, customer engagement, and overall listing performance
• Assisting with brand registry, A+ content, and brand growth initiatives
• Monitoring stock levels and inventory management across all channels
• Using marketplace software and tools to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Responding to customer queries and delivering excellent customer service
• Liaising with Amazon support and marketplace contacts to resolve issues and maximise opportunities
• Supporting expansion into additional marketplaces and international Amazon platforms

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar e-commerce or marketplace role
• Strong working knowledge of Amazon FBA and Seller Central
• Experience managing multiple online marketplaces
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Confident communication skills
• Strong written and spoken English
• Good understanding of what makes a successful product listing
• Competent IT and Excel skills

Ideal Experience

• Experience managing international Amazon marketplaces
• Experience creating A+ Content and Brand Store pages
• Experience with inventory forecasting and reconciliation
• Experience building and growing brands through Amazon and e-commerce platforms
• Experience managing or overseeing a small team
