Ecommerce Manager - £50k - £60k + Benefits + Hybrid working option

Role Overview – Training can be offered where a skills gap is identified

This is an opportunity to drive the performance and elevation of our online platforms, ensuring our e-commerce and paid media strategies align with our brand vision. You’ll be responsible for enhancing user experience, developing new website page designs, and managing online campaigns to maximise growth. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on data-led decision-making and has a keen eye for digital marketing trends.

Key Responsibilities - Ecommerce Manager

· Develop and implement continuous improvement plans for both websites.

· Increase the proportion of customers transacting through the website by improving the usability, visibility, and effectiveness of online self-service tools.

· Manage and update website content, ensuring consistency and accuracy with brand guidelines.

· Oversee product listings, descriptions, pricing, and imagery to enhance customer experience.

· Develop and implement new web page designs & updates in line brand and conversion best practice

· Monitor website performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate third-party integrations.

· Work alongside the wider marketing team to implement UX and CRO improvements.

· Support the setup and onboarding of trade accounts for B2B/B2C customers.

· Shopify experience is must with Magento being desirable (or similar).

Other Duties – SEO / Analysis / Reporting

· Own the SEO roadmap, including keyword strategy, technical optimisation, and content improvements.

· Conduct competitor analysis to improve search rankings.

· Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to drive organic traffic.

· Regularly monitor SEO performance to find recommendations for improvement.

· Manage external ad agencies to deliver results in line with sales & ROAS targets

· Stay up to date with competitor activity, market trends, and industry best practices.

· Own and report on key ecommerce KPIs including revenue, proportion of customers transacting online, ROAS, conversion rate, traffic, and average order value.

· Generate insightful reports and use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

· Work closely with the content and creative teams to refine messaging based on performance data.

The Person – Ecommerce Manager

Please see desired skills required, however, if you feel that you have stacks of initiative and the motivation to learn new skills quickly, we can be flexible on your overall skill set.

· Proven experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field.

· Experience with platforms such as Shopify & Magento

· Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website optimisation.

· Hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns, including Google and Meta Ads.

· Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tracking tools.

· Ability to analyse data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

· A collaborative approach, working across teams to align digital marketing strategies with brand storytelling.
