Ecommerce Marketplace Manager
Garden and Home Trading Company Ltd is the biggest online retailer in the UK of wild bird food with growing sales of around £22m. We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual with proven experience in growing and adding value through marketplace channels.
We are looking someone to drive growth, spot trends and own the channel. They will build on existing channels of Amazon and ebay with combined sales of £4.5m. Whilst looking to introduce other marketplace channels into the business such as B&Q, Tesco, Onbuy, Wilko’s, Tiktok Shop and others. Role description:
- Managing the end-to-end performance of e-commerce marketplaces, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and Ads.
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, market share, and profitability within each marketplace.
- Analyzing sales data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and competitor activity to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Creating and optimizing product listings with compelling descriptions, high-quality images, and relevant keywords for SEO.
- Monitoring Marketplace metrics, resolving issues, to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Staying updated on marketplace policies, platform changes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications - if you don't have this experience then please do not apply:
- Proven Marketplace experience, where you can demonstrate adding growth and value, ideally across multiple channels. If you don't have this experience, please do not apply.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms ideally Adobe Commerce and M2E
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of setting up new Marketplace channels. e.g. B&Q, OnBuy, Tesco
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating compelling product listings, writing reports, and collaborating with teams.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to product listings, pricing, inventory, and customer inquiries.
- Ability to manage multiple marketplaces, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Working hours
Monday – Friday 8.30 to 5pm
Working from site is a prerequisite in the initial months, thereafter remote working a day a week would be applicable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
