The Role

As our Marketplace & Ecommerce Executive, you will be responsible for establishing, optimising, and growing our presence on UK and European marketplaces (starting with Amazon UK & EU, eBay, and others). You’ll also support general ecommerce tasks on our Magento website, including content creation and optimisation.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with solid marketplace experience who is eager to take ownership and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketplace Setup & Growth — Establish and manage seller accounts on Amazon Seller Central (UK & European marketplaces), eBay, and additional platforms as required.
  • Product Listings — Create, optimise, and maintain high-quality product listings (titles, bullet points, descriptions, images, A+ content, videos) to maximise visibility and conversion.
  • PPC & Advertising — Plan, launch, and optimise Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, etc.) and other marketplace advertising to drive profitable sales growth.
  • Account Health & Operations — Monitor and maintain account health, manage orders, inventory, pricing, promotions, and customer queries/reviews. Ensure compliance with all marketplace rules and EU/UK regulations (including VAT).
  • Performance Analysis — Track key metrics (sales, traffic, conversion, ROI) using Seller Central, Google Analytics, and other tools. Provide regular reports and recommendations.
  • Website Support (Magento) — Upload and optimise blog posts, articles, product content, and news on our Magento site to support SEO and brand storytelling.
  • Expansion — Research and recommend new marketplace opportunities across Europe (e.g., Germany, France) and support product launches.
  • Collaboration — Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align marketplace activity with overall business goals.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven experience managing Amazon Seller Central (UK focus essential; European experience highly desirable).
  • Hands-on experience with other marketplaces (eBay, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of marketplace optimisation, PPC, listing best practices, and performance analytics.
  • Excellent written English skills for creating compelling product content and blogs.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Magento (or other CMS platforms) for content updates.
  • Knowledge of the EV, automotive, or home improvement sectors.
  • Basic understanding of EU marketplace requirements (VAT, multi-country shipping, etc.).
  • Google Analytics / data analysis skills.
