Senior Ecommerce Manager
We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of our online trading performance and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our ecommerce channel.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will shape how customers shop online, driving conversion, increasing average order value, and maximising revenue through data-led trading decisions and onsite optimisation.
Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will turn insight into action and ensure our digital experience is continuously evolving to deliver commercial growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Website Management and Optimisation
Oversee the day-to-day management of the custom-built website, including search, merchandising, recommendation zones (via XO), and page optimisations (via Contentful).
Manage banner changes, Product Listing Page (PLP) builds, and other site updates.
Trading Strategy Development and Execution
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to plan, build, and execute the trading strategy for both external and own brands.
Focus on supporting revenue delivery by optimising Average Order Value (AOV) and Conversion Rate (CVR).
Trade and Promotional Calendar Management
Manage the trade and promotional calendar, working closely with marketing and buying teams to effectively execute campaigns and meet business objectives.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Use data from Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to generate detailed reporting for stakeholders, providing actionable insights on key performance metrics such as CVR%, AOV, and bounce rate.
Own key reporting streams, providing updates to the senior leadership team.
Website Optimisation via Data and Tools
Analyse website performance using GA4, XO, and other tools.
Provide solutions to optimise the site.
Collaborate with the development team to implement technical initiatives that enhance the customer experience and journey.
Google Tag Manager (GTM) Management
Be hands-on in Google Tag Manager, including uploading, deploying, or removing tags.
Support for International Expansion
Collaborate with the senior leadership and development team to support the technical and onsite elements of expanding into new territories.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with buying, merchandising and wider teams to understand stock levels and incoming product, aligning marketing strategies and ensuring the website reflects product launches.
Provide feedback to the teams to manage risks and maximise opportunities.
Build relationships with key teams across the business, including marketing, buying, logistics, and customer services, to foster a continuous feedback loop and optimise website performance.
Share insights into stock, product range, and competitive offerings to improve the overall customer experience.
