Description

We are looking for a Senior eCommerce Marketing Executive to join our Digital Marketing team. Based at Next Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire!


The Role:

As a Senior eCommerce Marketing Executive you will join the Always On & Campaign Planning team. Sitting at the heart of this team, you will help to shape how NEXT shows up across all UK digital media. This role is essential to connecting our trading, media, brand marketing, design and social teams, ensuring our creative assets for always on paid media advertising inspire & delight customers; driving commercial priorities at the right time, to the right customers. 

Reporting to the Lead Marketing Planning & Campaigns Partner, you will play a pivotal part in driving commercial success for our NEXT own brand divisions, working collaboratively with both internal colleagues and external media partners.

What You’ll Take On:

  • Develop and execute 360° paid marketing activity across the UK market, ensuring consistent, high-impact messaging across Always On channels.
  • Build seasonal marketing strategies for the NEXT own brand divisions, translating business goals into actionable marketing plans that deliver commercial results.
  • Own the critical path for our UK Always On planning work streams, transforming insights from trade and media teams into clear, accurate briefs for our internal design team.
  • Work closely with the PR team to guide content creator and influencer partnerships that elevate brand reach and credibility.
  • Partner with our brand partnerships team to ensure NEXT product divisions shine alongside third-party brands in multibrand campaigns.
  • Bring a growth mindset to the team by continually looking for process efficiencies, including exploring AI tools to streamline day to day workflows.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Background in digital marketing and campaign planning, with a strong understanding of paid marketing channels, creative formats, and the wider marketing funnel.
  • An ability to take trade and media inputs and translate them into simple, clear, actionable briefs for creative teams.
  • Strong time management skills with a knack for keeping multiple projects moving along a critical path, even in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, a positive "can do" attitude, and the ability to build strong working relationships across diverse teams.
  • Comfortable using performance insights to guide future creative choices and drive business growth.
  • A self motivated, inquisitive approach, ready to embrace new technologies, learn continuously and keep calm under pressure.
