The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Website Manager with strong e-commerce experience (WooCommerce) to take ownership of our websites.
You will be responsible for managing, improving, and growing our online stores working closely with our in-house team and coordinating with our remote developers and SEO specialists.
You’ll report to the Marketing Director and oversee a small team, including a UK-based website assistant and a remote team member.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise multiple e-commerce websites (WooCommerce)
- Lead the launch of 3 new international websites
- Improve conversion rates, user experience and overall site performance
- Upload and manage products, categories and on-site content (with team support)
- Plan and execute pricing, promotions and on-site campaigns
- Manage plugins, themes and website functionality
- Identify and resolve website issues (both independently and with developers)
- Coordinate with external development and SEO teams (India-based)
- Monitor and improve site speed and performance
- Use data to drive decisions (GA4, conversion tracking, etc.)
- Support SEO improvements and work alongside SEO specialists
- Contribute to email marketing campaigns (Klaviyo/Mailchimp)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing e-commerce websites (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of WooCommerce
- Good technical ability (HTML, CSS, troubleshooting)
- Experience improving conversion rates and UX
- Confident working with plugins, themes and site performance tools
- Experience using Google Analytics (GA4)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Comfortable coordinating with remote teams and developers
- Commercial mindset – focused on growth, not just maintenance
Nice to Have
- Experience with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation)
- Email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp)
- Basic design skills (Canva, Photoshop)
- Exposure to marketplaces like Amazon/eBay (or interest in developing this area)
