Ecommerce Manager (Shopify / CRO / Merchandising)
York / Hybrid
£40,000-£45,000 + Hybrid Working + Career Progression + Growing Ecommerce Business
Are you an Ecommerce Manager, Shopify Manager or Ecommerce Executive with strong Shopify experience, looking for an opportunity where you can take ownership of an established online store and directly influence sales, customer experience and website performance?
On offer is the opportunity to join a rapidly growing ecommerce business with ambitious plans to scale significantly over the coming years. This is a highly visible role where you will take ownership of the Shopify platform, driving website performance, improving customer journeys and supporting wider commercial growth.
In this role, you will manage product merchandising, website optimisation, promotional campaigns, SEO improvements and conversion rate optimisation activities. You will work closely with the wider marketing team while acting as the primary owner of the ecommerce experience, ensuring the website remains commercially effective and customer-focused.
This role would suit an Ecommerce Manager, Shopify Manager, Ecommerce Executive, Ecommerce Merchandiser, Digital Trading Manager or Shopify Specialist looking for a role with genuine ownership and long-term progression.

The Role
- Manage and optimise the Shopify ecommerce platform
- Create and maintain product listings, categories and collections
- Improve website merchandising and customer journeys
- Manage promotional campaigns, landing pages and homepage content
- Support SEO initiatives and metadata optimisation
- Conduct conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing activities
- Analyse website performance and identify growth opportunities
- Manage website content including blogs, guides and FAQs
- Work closely with marketing teams to support commercial objectives
- Strong Shopify experience
- Ecommerce merchandising and website management experience
- Understanding of SEO, CRO and customer journey optimisation
- Experience analysing website performance and user behaviour
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
- Experience using GA4, Search Console or similar analytics tools advantageous
- Healthcare, pharmacy or regulated industry experience beneficial but not essential
